
- Hair loss is common problems in dogs. Generally hair loss is not a major problem we can reduce hair fall by taking proper care but BALD SPOTS are typically signs of bigger health issue.

Seasonal Shedding
- Seasonally shedding of hair is natural process and that occur on regular basis one or two times in a year, most dogs will shed extra during spring and fall.
- Most dogs are double coated one you see and feel outside is top coat and second layer of coat is made up of short and soft hairs.
- Seasonal shedding occurs due temperature changes, when weather warms dog shed their old winter coats to make lighter summer coat , and then when weather cool again they shed their lighter summer coat and grow thicker and warmer coat for winter.
Control:
We cannot stop seasonal shedding it is a natural process but we can take care during this time and help to new growing hairs.
Regularly once in a day with the help of comb or grooming gloves in forward to backward and backward to forward direction will remove extra broken hair or dead hairs and also distribute the natural oil produce by skin throughout the hair coat and due to grooming blood supply will increase throuout the skin that will help to new growing hairs.
Omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acid contain syrup that will improve skin and coat health.
Parasitic infestation: Tick/ flea/ mites
- One of the very common reason to hair loss in dogs.
- Ticks /flea/mites are rapidly infest your dog skin and cause irritation this will leads to itching, scratching and biting to a particular area where this parasite present and eventually hair loss occur.
- Common sign : hair loss at on back , on abdomen ,front legs, on face and sometimes in tail region.
- In this condition hair loss occur at particular area in spots or patchy fashion. Redness of skin and sometime bleeding

- Local and systemic antiparasitic drugs
